About

I am a reformed fashion blogger. Back in the day, and for several years, I wrote the blog The Adventures of an Urban Socialite (last post, 2017). With some assistance from the wonderful people at the Wayback Machine Downloader I was able to reconstitute many of my old posts, which I an slowly culling and posting in the archives.

Urban Socialite came about when I was a bit younger, bouncing around between Boston, NYC, the Cape and Fisher’s Island (FI NY, not FI MIA). The blog, which was actually pretty well read, was a celebration of city living and emerging, independent, design.

About me: I was born and raised on Cape Cod. Among other educational endeavors, I studied Fashion Design at RISD and Parsons. This website is where I store my notes, thoughts, and inspiration.

What you will find: beautiful things, recipes, inspiring designers, and lessons learned from years I spent on the Cape, in the fashion industry, and living gluten free.

What you will not find: selfies (it’s not about me, its about you- and for other reasons that will bore you, I just can’t share personal details about myself), ubiquitous advertising, or gratuitous influencers.

To that end, I partner with Collective Voice. To the extent something I post about is on Collective Voice, I will let you know.
